BOOKING CONDITIONS

  • All rates are in South African Rands and include VAT.
  • Full rates will apply no matter whether a guest misses any meals or activities included in the rates. 
  • No refunds will be due if any activities (e.g. Bush-Pizza) are not available or possible due to prevailing weather conditions or factors out of our control.
  • Payments shall be at rates specified in the rates schedules unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • All reservations require a 50% deposit to be paid within 7 days for confirmation of the booking. Nkonjeni reserves the right to cancel the booking should payment not be received.
  • Final payment of full accommodation and other charges is due and payable 30 days prior to arrival (unless otherwise agreed in writing by Nkonjeni). Nkonjeni reserves the right to cancel the booking should payment not be received.
  • For last minute reservations, full payment is required upon confirmation.
  • All requests, confirmations and cancellations are only valid if in writing.
  • Rates are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.
  • All guests must settle their accounts for extras on departure. 

CHILDREN

  • For children of 2 years and up to 12 years we apply a 50% adult rate.
  • We do not charge for Babies up to 2 years. Baby cots can be arranged.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payments may be made by credit card or direct deposit. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation fees are charged on any amendments, reduction in rooms or reduction in guests which affect the original value of the confirmed booking.

Unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing:

INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATIONS

  • 25% of charges payable if booking cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
  • 50% of charges payable if booking cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival.
  • 100% of charges payable if booking cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival.

GROUP CANCELLATIONS (6 adults or more)

  • Groups must be confirmed or cancelled at least 90 days prior to arrival, unless otherwise specifically agreed.
  • If cancelled less than 90 days prior to arrival cancellation charge of 50% is payable.
  • If cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival cancellation charge of 100% is payable.

OTHER CANCELLATIONS

  • Extra Meals/Pizza: 24h in advance is required for cancellations, after which the full price will be charged.
  • Nkonjeni Game Drive: 100% of charges payable if the Game Drive is cancelled less than 5 hours prior to departure time.
  • Game Drive Vehicle: 100% of charges payable if the Rental is not cancelled 5 hours prior to rental.

GENERAL

  • Check in time is 14h00 and check out time is 11h00. Please advise us of late arrivals or departures and we will try to accommodate requirements.
  • Requests regarding special dietary or other requirements, including special occasion requests, must be confirmed before arrival.
  • We strongly recommend to every guest to be adequately covered by comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering at least injury, medical costs, emergency evacuation, repatriation, loss or damage to personal belongings (due to theft or otherwise) and cancellation.
  • All guests travelling with children under the age of 18 must comply with the relevant South African requirements.
  • No Animals allowed.
  • No persons other than those quoted for and booked are permitted to share the accommodation provided.
  • All accommodation is non-smoking. There are designated areas for smoking outside.
  • We are committed to protecting your privacy and no information gathered in online forms on the website or otherwise will be sold to a third party.
  • Nkonjeni Game Ranch shall not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of any property belonging to the client or any guest or other person, nor shall Nkonjeni Game Ranch be responsible for any personal injury which may be sustained by any guests or other person, whether such damage or personal injury be caused by, or arise from the negligence of Nkonjeni Game Ranch or its employees or otherwise. With the booking, the client hereby indemnifies Nkonjeni Game Ranch and all persons working for Nkonjeni Game Ranch in respect of such personal injury, loss or damage.
  • All terms and conditions, whether general or special, shall be interpreted and take effect according to the laws of South Africa. The courts of South Africa shall have sole jurisdiction in respect of any claims which may arise between the client and Nkonjeni Game Ranch.
  • We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

CHILDREN ON GAME ACTIVITIES

  • All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult during game drives and bush walks. If necessary, children will be permitted on game drives and walks at the discretion of the ranger.

TRANSFERS

  • Transfers can be arranged on request at an additional cost.
  • All transfers are handled by accredited third party contractors and must be arranged prior to arrival.
